Well, going back to my AMAL Journey, I must say that it was a bumpy ride for me as it was full of a rejuvenating experience for me. I had a lot of learnings and lessons with me after having worked with so many intellectually and emotionally strong and dynamic people. I’ll try to jot down all bits that made this beautiful picture of my journey colorful and amazing:

  • Thinking about the interactions that I had with my fellows , PA, PM and external evaluators , all gave me a new perspective to adjust and learn from people who you are around with. Talking about the impact and good memories that I had was that here people, although connected virtually, were kind and professional enough to admire and appreciate by making every conversation live up to that extent that everyone was the dot making this beautiful picture complete.
  • Talking about the one thing that actually changed me drastically is that the extent of acceptance and understating from my PM and PA was an astonishing factor for me. As right in the middle of Fellowship, I got multiple unexpected and inevitable commitments from my personal Life as well as Professional life. But both my PM and PA not only supported me but also taught me how the acceptance and Admiration to the one who immensely needs it, can change the Performance curve of the person. And same i went through and yes while those days I really learnt the Understanding and accepting people with their odds can make the best out of it.
  • I was amazed when I saw that my PM was there to have a one on one session, talking about my personal as well as Professional challenges that I was going through and talking about the strategies and helping me out in figuring out the things without losing the hope of being left from the Fellowship as well as my Professional goals. Yes this was something that actually made an impression that will never be forgotten.
  • It actually gave me a remarkable lesson that we always see things with a monotonic eye, not try to go that one extra mile that can open the last lock that will make you reach there while thinking of dropping it out.
  • Before this happened I used to be a very blunt and sometimes pessimist guy due to not seeing and going that one extra mile. Yes, now I realized why people always thought that yes there is a chance of more improvement in me and it can take me to one more level up.
